Yep - a little yellow van just trundled up the track and I went to fetch the post out of my post box and the RCME September 2013 Issue is here! It's still July!!

I am hoping that August's and September's pension will also arrive in my bank a/c today but I'm not holding my breath!

Looks good and if wifey's 2 lovely grand children will let me be later (wifey and her daughter are 'sunbathing on the terrace at the moment and for some reason do not wish to be disturbed!) I can have a read of the mag!

Expecting 37C today!

Terry

Mine landed on the door mat this morning. Looks like the folks at RCM&E have done another great job this month. It's just what the doctor ordered as I'm off work suffering with a bad back. Hopefully I'll be o.k. for a day at the field on Sunday.

Love that Dauntless! Read about half this pm - so hot here impossible to do almost anything except reading. New jet column very interesting too.Saving Prof Burton's spin article for a quieter time but devoured the Pete Lowe one. A good mixed mag this month.

Now trying to avoid being out in the garden with the foamie chuck glider with the step grand kids - maybe later!!!

I think RCME operates in a different time zone to the rest of us.

Its because those overgenerous chaps at RCM&E give us a wopping 13 issues in a year so they need to compress the months a tad to get it all in.....wink 2

Lordy lordy they're good to us......thumbs up

The cover story in September's issue features Chris Burkett talking about the challenges
and sensations of aerobatic displays in a full scale Extra, with comparisons to the performance of Mike Williams' 41% Krill model. Get a taste of what it feels like by watching his video, you can see by what he means when he talks about the physical side of the flying!

I’m sure that with enough practice he will get the hang of flying straight and level; he just needs to stir the sticks a little less. wink

It's no wonder they have got up to the September issue already when David is posting his replies at 6 in the morning!
When do we get the Special issue?

OK, I give up. Where are the downloadable dash board dials hiding as referred to in the Weekenders column? Just spent about 30 minutes scouring the site. Knowing my luck, they are right in front of me but I can't see them! LOL

I'm sure this was mentioned somewhere on the forum a couple of days ago. As I understand it, the contributor is being nudged to extract a digit and the items should be available shortly....watch this space! wink 2

He's done his bit but now it's with our designer to 'make it lovely'. Sorry for the delays chaps, they will arrive and will be available via the homepage link (blue mouse thumbnail) as usual for any download item.
