Well the title says it all really. I was going to run a poll but, clearly, there are quite a few to choose so what would you have on the short list?

I'd have...

Graupner Terry

foam-e Acrowot

Hmm i think Multiplex have a lot that should be on the list. All are, I think, pretty iconic in their respective classes.

Easy Glider in its various guises

EasyStar has got to be there how many years has it been and still a favourite of many

Multiplex Blizzard. No competition. 4+ in one machine.

Nothing else on the market in foam can do Powered Glider, Warmliner, slope soarer in gentle winds, all out hooligan in 70mph winds off the slope, if you o

The Parkzone Trojan must be there somewhere. It was a breath of fresh air when it came along. Durable foam and very easy to fly. Who would have thought that a warbird could make such a good trainer? I tought a mate of mine to fly on one.

The Foam E Wot 4 must also make the list. Another cracking flyer. Does everything I want and more.

The trouble is that there are so many good foamy jobs to choose from these days.

You cannot talk about classic foamys and leave off the GWS Formosa, fabulous model that would do anything.

The Parkzone Stryker takes some beating in the fun stakes - tremendous value for money, virtually indestructable and a hoot to fly thumbs up

Parkzone Radian 3 channel! A well built , extremely easy to fly multi-purpose glider, was great for sloping too, seen many newcomers fly pretty well straight off flight sims

Multiplex Twinstar, Twin Jet, Easy Glider and Easy Star should be on the list, but I'd also put forward the original Parkzone Habu and Multiplex Dogfighter

A couple of HobbyKing ones:

Skyfun (same as the Jamara Roo)

Goshawk (looks great, flies really well, and even sounds like a jet!)

HK Bixler easy glider, very capable powered trainer/soarer/camera platform. Cheap and takes a lot of abuse.

An honorable mention for the Zagi, I think.

It's not the best glider by a long long way but for cheap batterable expendable fun it has given many hours of pleasure to many folks.

And it makes a good cushion.

Parkzone t28 trojan = easy to fly and looked fantastic in the air

Parkzone p51 mustang bl = cheap , fast and almost unbreakable

Parkzone Radian 3 ch = Flies itself

Wot4 foam-e = was my first wot and its superb, such a great allrounder

hk bixler 2 = well its a trainer, slope soarer and camera platform in 1 and many more

dynam catalina = my first flying boat and once a small amount of tinkering flew gracefully everytime

multiplex twinstar = ohhh its possibilitieswhere endless and still are

multiplex funcub = became my winter hack and flew in all conditions, was great testing the strength of the ice at the local pond cheeky

I've yet to see a day on the slope without at least 1 Wildthing in attendance, got to be near the top surely.

Also the Easystar and AXN Floater jet!
