Thanks guys. I had rather more than one of these beer afterwards to calm down.

Chickened out today because the wind swung round towards a no-fly zone and it seems to be in that direction for a while yet.

Hi Martin, this is looking superb, I have just launched in to building this one too using the c.n.c. pack and like yourself it will be i.c., the plan states to use 3 gram torque micro servos on the flaps & ailerons but seems to have the dimensions of a standard size except that the distance between the bearers measures 38mm and standard servos tend to be 39 to 40mm, can you enlighten me please ? or tell me what servos you have employed, I would be most grateful, cheers Bill

Hi Bill, I have actually used 82mg ones because these are also in my I/c Tucano and perform well in that. I have not as yet deployed the flaps on the Mustang but perhaps should have done since I am still repairing a damaged u/c mount after a rather fast arrival in zero wind. I have just bought some of the newish HS 5485 carbonite digis which I would recommend instead since these are 5 to 6 kg torque and only a couple of quid more. I have test flown one and am very satisfied with it. They measure 40mm so it should be simple to modify the mounts to fit.
