I have obtained a "Pilot" Tiger Moth kit approx 1/4 scale. The plan for the fuselage seems to have had some water damage /faded to the point that its not useable. In addition there are no build instructions. I understand that these kits were made some time in the 80's - so a rather long shot in hoping that someone has a plan/build notes that I could borrow in order to make a copy.

Is it this one?

If it is it is nearer 1/6 scale, I was given one, threw it out but still have the undercarriage.

Hello Gary ,

Many thanks for your response. The one I have is more like 1:4.5 . The only bit I can make out on the fuselage plan shows rec IC 2 stroke as 10 -20cc . I didn't realise that these went back into early 70's . My kit was in part chewed box and bin liner! Wood is in excellent condition. Hopefully the info on the link will give me a starting point. I will investigate when I get home tonight.

Thank you Percy I'm hoping to get this started as my winter project. The plans on the wings are in good condition . Looks like a little more research is needed for the fuselage.

Hello! Tomtom

Did you get hold of the fuse plan? If not the plans are at Outerzone.

Hope that helps

Hello Manish

Yes thanks. However , I'm having to fashion up some wing fixings . Hopefully may get mine finished in the next few weeks as weather here is pretty rubbish and I have taken three weeks off!
