you will need an 'A' to fly, otherwise it's pretty free and easy. There's a registration charge and a pegboard for 35MHz, the grub van is pretty good, and lots of friendly faces.

Only one binding rule otherwise - ENJOY!

They have camping John... the facilities are rather.... err "a bit rough" to be polite but the food van was good last year and there is a pub and chippy not that far away.

Just keep your fingers crossed that the weather is nice and hope to see you there

I intend to be there and look forward to it. Fervently hope the weather is much better and that I can pluck up courage to fly more than the once I managed on Sunday in the teeth of a howling gale! Hope to see one or two forum friends there that I missed last time too.

Well I'm booked into my parents spare bedroom that weekend and they have told me the long term forecast for Walsall is wall to wall sunshine and a nice gentle breeze nerd

I've got a tent with plenty of room for kit inside. Will you be staying in luxury accommodation Cymaz?

What type of models are allowed at the fly in. Can I bring the jets? Always wanted to come along to this as it looks like fun.

cheers,

Simon

I hope to be living in France by then, the weather's warmer and the wine is much cheaper but I will need to return to pick up bits and pieces (and models) which I couldn't take with me on the first trip over there so I'll try to combine that with flying at Greenacres.

Will my FFAM membership cover me for flying at Walsall?

I plan to be there again - like Weaz this will be my 5th Greenacres (100% record so far). I should have the Typhoon well sorted by then and of course a Dawn Flyer for the Mass build!
