The pics , 3 views of the DH60 are allover the workshopwink , so I won't forget smiley, but Iam in no hurry and waiting for the Apache to get finished to make a start on the DH60 cheeky.

Yes a littlewink but don't tell anyone , the RedEagle was build in 3 weeks and that was only because I was taking it slow knowing that I would have to wait for the motor , etc to come in from HK to make the it flight ready. Still waiting for the parts though crying 2

David , Thanks and have ordered the motor, prop etc from another shop so hoping to do the maiden next week.

Let hope the weather is working with us to shoot some nice pics for Graham.

Danny , Thanks mate must admit that Iam happy at how its turned out, Red and Yellow always makes a nic combination.

Bob , Thanks and even better that you have learnt a bit from the pics, looks like I don't post all my pics for nothing.

The first ordered motor at HK is still somewhere in China or who knows where.

The second attempt at a shop in holland was better so the motor was fixed in the RedEagle and all worked fine.

With everything working great it was Sunday of to the field for the maiden.

At the field a final check of the CG and an RC range check and knowing that the receiver was only good for 250mtr, the flight would not go up all the way but for an test 100 mtr would be just fine.

With about 50% power and a small push the RedEagle was going up.

A little right trim was needed and also the elevator was only 2 clicks and the RedEagle was flying nice,.

It looked nice but the weather was not all that great, it was very turbulent so the flight was short but good enough to know that the RedEagle is flying great.

Here some more pics.

That's what I was waiting for. Looks nice and stable and should thermal well. Will put it on my list of things to build. May just jump the queue a bit!

Yes was going to, but the speed was just a little to slow to climb for the catch.

Did catch it several times but the SD card was full to show that, its the most easiest model to catch if the speed is there to pitch up ofcourse.

Cheers

Lovely!

There always seems to be market for trad gliders (albeit e-powered), so I've no doubt this one will be popular!
