Got a covering iron. Having struggled with cast off domestic irons for years, I'm dead chuffed to have a "proper" tool for the job at last

And a couple of Slough vouchers will be "converted" into Permagrits

Armed with those, I'll be way better equipped to attack the (ever lengthening) list of models that "just need finishing", and the queue of plans and kits still to be started smiley

I received a mefisto glider kit which I will assemble in due course...

Most amusement in our house has come from the minute Hubsan Q4 quad copter which my daughter received.... I've been allowed a few goes, and I'm very tempted to spend some Christmas money on one!

No new model for Xmas but as I have had a few new ones this year I cannot complain. However I did get a nice new tablet which I had been eyeing up.

Happy Days.

You are a lucky lot.

All I received was a bag of Brazil nuts and a bar of chocolate with instructions on how to make my own Chocolate Brazils.

The nuts are even still in the shells - duh!

Double horse 9053 Heli, Never dabbled in heli's up to now, Needs a few mods to make it sensible so just ordered all the bits to mod it. oh and a tiny little Silverlit  "heli cube" which at the moment seems impossible to control....

I got a kit, the Dumas Aeronca C3 Flying Bathtub. I will not be starting to build it straight off, I have a Dawn Flyer to start on first. I also have to work out what to use to power the Aeronca. It suggests :-

  • "MPI EPU-4 Gear Drive or GWS IPS-S1 Drive Unit"

I am sure that there must be a nice simple brushless equivalent.
