Just finished the Ripmax J!ve 3d. Bought it on Friday. Fitted a Irvine 39, as I already had one, and the 36 is a bit small.

Went together ok, Added extra glue to bearers and epoxied the firewall, so acts as fuel proofer and fill any holes in the joins where fuel can creep in and weaken the wood.

Finished, but having gales, thunder, hail and rain. Not really flying weather. Was about to run the engine in, but started to rain, so didn't even do that.

Anyone else got one, and what's in it?

Bought one of these last year, but not had much chance to fly it. From the few flights I've had, it is a lot of fun to throw around, but I'd like to try it without the wing plates as they do make it feel a bit strange.

Regards,

Simon
