Accounts don't close really Paul, there's nothing to close and we don't remove historic posts as that would disrupt threads - just go somewhere else as your fancy takes you. Alternatively, I can suspend your account if you prefer - that'll prevent you from posting.

Why not just log out and delete the site address from your favourites list, then simply not visit the site?

I must admit I thought 'April Fools' too...

Surely Paul if you really are bored here, just go somewhere else for a bit - I bet you'll be back one day... you don't have to cover your tracks by deleting your account?!

Surely if one was to die it's the best way to close your account?

Not according to utility companies or banks!

I',m not very good with people - went to a specialist last year and have Asperger's Syndrome. I can't understand how people work, and earlier, I didn't know why my post was offensive, although didn't mean it, and get my head bitten off, added to the fact an earlier post went stray and was annoyed having to type it out again, so didn't- which it made it sound worse.

Best thing is to stay away, hoard more models and lurk, so to avoid any more bother.

Bye.

Nothing to be concerned about, Paul, your post wasn't in any way offensive.

sad

Having know Paul on & off for a long time I understand what he means and also having a son with Di George syndrome I also understand what some of their personality problems are.

Incidently for anyone who didn't know Paul he's a good guy and lives and breaths planes, RC and real. Probably owns nearly every engine out there (or has owned!) and could fly a vapour in a gale!

He most definately wouldn't deliberately insult anybody, just tells it how it is/seems. May seem strange to some people but then again so must my little boy.

Still my friend, great fun today at the strip, and I'll catch you later through the week! yes laugh

Paul,

I doubt if anybody was really offended, perhaps the word bored could be misconstrued but I wouldn't worry about that.

Go fly, enjoy yourself, pop back in when you are ready, most of us will still be here!

When I'm typing long posts I copy them to the clipboard or sometimes even word frequently so if anything goes wrong I don't have to retype it all.

All the best, Shaunie.

I'm not sure this thread is particularly constructive, TBH.

I should reassure Paul that he is very welcome to continue posting or not, as he wishes, and the decision is his and his alone.

In view of that, I'll lock the thread as the point has been made.

Pete
