I have seen the RAF Chinook around here. Note the singular. I am told that they only have one operational one at the moment!!

Apaches around here in ones and twos by day and night. Noisy beasts at 10 pm.

The BBMF had one with this scheme on the underside - perhaps the same one.

There is a newly restored Hurricane based at Elmsett. Not sure of the colour scheme but that is very close to the River Orwelll

Thanks Both. The one at Elmsett sounds quite likely, I must wander over and have a look...... Now, what could I possibly need from Hobby King?

Hurricane at Elmsetton Anglia TV at the moment, Underside black and white.

To be honest I suspect they took the makers plate, mounted it on a ladder abd built a new aircraft onto it based on what they dragged out of the sea.

Just had a Dakota flying over heading West. Possibly going to Duxford.

You don't need to go outside to know what it is with those distinctive engines but I grabbed the glasses anyway.
