It seems the Fly Past is at 1pm today. Anyone know what planes are scheduled?

Normally the planes fly right along the A12 in Essex so I may be able to see them right from my club's model flying field....with any luck!

Thanks Gavin====we will land our models and watch them fly by!

Schedule seems to be 12.00 not 1pm.......does the RAF keep to GMT?

I think Notams are always issued in Zulu time - GMT. Caught me out years ago when I almost flew a full size Cessna into the middle of the Red Arrows transiting between shows

Yes, as it says on the first page of the notice all times are UTC, or Zulu, or GMT, whatever you want to call it!

Again thanks.

Hopefully we will get some model flying in and a free airshow.

The ceremony is 'Trooping the Colour', not 'Trooping of the Colour'.

Normally get them right over the house on their way out, a few mins after they've flown over the palace

Never had the BBMF but normally get all, or most, of the "heavy metal"

We got the Lanc aswell as the jets. Turns out it was booked for a flypast at a local school fete so three nice low circuits round the valley - great stuff smiley

Just watched the recorded flypast and discovered that the Chinook Pilot was a nephew from my last marriage! Whilst my son was in Afghanistan the first time round as a platoon commander for the 1st Royal Anglians he and his platoon were 'extracted' by his own cousin!
