Hello All,

I have volunteered to put together a club newsletter and wanted to post in PDF format. I need a conversion program to convert word to PDF and there are many (free) ones on the market.

Does anyone recommend a particular program. A recomendation is much better than the advertising blurb.

Regards.

Which version of Word?

MS have an update for 2007 to give a pdf output. I would assume later versions have pdf output as standard.

Hi Spice Cat, my work laptop has primo PDF on it. Very easy to use as it installs like a printer so just print, select primo PDF as your printer and a box pops up with a few options and where to save.

Just get yourself a copy of Open Office or Libre Office. This costs nowt, and has a built in export to PDF function.   Who needs Word?

SC - the favourite around our office is the CutePDF Writer, it is free and can be downloaded from here. It installs a printer into windows which, if you select it turns whatever you have printed into a PDF. So you can create PDFs from any application which supports normal printing.

I've used CutePDF in the past so would happily recommend it, these days I do not need because MS Office will save to PDF anyway.
