More about me:

Old hand returning to the fold R.C. was valves and G/G  single at first  KK and FROG  VERON andGUiLLOWS  were the main kits . AMCO, ALLBON MILLS,FROG,ELFIN the main engine manufacturers with the occasional american job if you had YANKEE  cousins or sailor friends. Electic flight was rare ,and rubber was the one power source that many of  us could afford. Chuck gliders were very popular and some of the flight times were phenominal for a hand launched model. O.O.S. sometimes with the aid of the odd thermal. Does anyone stil go slope soaring? I now live in  one of the popular  areas for this The Vale of Clwyd. I have been out of touch for a long time (long long) and am a bit lost as to what's hot and what's not. If any one has old models or kits. engines or r.c. gear they want o get rid of (donate to tjis hard up old pensioner if poss  at reasonable prices. You cna contact me at johnpcalex@gmail.com in the first instance. My 12 Grand children are all keen for me to teach them and help them make models as also are couple of their dads. I also make boats some of them half plane half boat. Floated skimmers etc. If any one can help  Iwould be very grateful. Cheers    John .m.

Q: Which part of building a new traditional balsa aeroplane do you enjoy the most?

 Research & choosing the model
 Building the fuselage
Installing the engine and radio systems
 Building the flying surfaces
 Covering/painting/finishing
 All of it!
None of it. I'd rather someone else did it!
