More about me:

Started building Airfix kits about 8yrs old in Gibraltar, joined the Air Cadets(got my full size glider wings!) in Borehamwood Herts and helped build a free flight diesel model there, then brought and built my own rubber powered KK Senetor.

Left school '72, carried on with the Airfix but never followed on with balsa bashing/ flying due to being a teenager, cars and girls, and then I got into photography, but never lost the flying dream!

Early 90's joined Ivel MAC & had a couple of lessons on the club trainer then brought & built the Flair Cub, fitted it with a Saito 40s & Fleet gear and carried on learning and gaining  my A Certificate, built the Flair Volture but early electrickery beat me! Circumstances then lead to a break from flying and building for about 15yrs, last year l had to have a kidney removed so before I went in I retrieved the Cub from the loft, purchased some Hitec A9 2.4 gear and during convalescing did a bit of a refurb!

Sitting in the loft is a CG Super Chipmunk(Laser 80), hopefully still in a decent state to build! Also keeping it company is the Flair Volture that needs it back repairing and a Spacewalker artf.

Hopefully would like to try slope/thermal soaring, maybe heli's and will be indulging in a bit of water flying, & maybe rekindle the freeflight. Would like to have a mixture of both electric and 4stroke, main likes are semi & scale, enjoy the building, satisfaction is seeing the creation take to the air, and developing  my building & flying skills, then doing the B cert!
