I have recently returned to RC plane modelling after a 30 year absence - much has changed. Years ago, I was a Keil Kraft enthusiast and latterly built a 60 inch wingspan Sopwith Camel, which did fly but was relegated to the loft due to work and raising the family.
Now retired and learning to fly with electric, I have managed to destroy a number of foam models. Preferring IC, I have built a Precedent 240, which flies well and a Tony Nijhuis 72 inch Spitfire, which will take to the air later this year.
I really enjoy building - which is just as well!
