i began flying models at 6-(balsa gliders) and learned how to trim them. then from 9 began building stick and tissue. towline gliders; rubber band. later, with the advent of small glow plug engines (.045 baby spitfire), got into power. later control line stunt. some time later, when low cost radios were available, got an ace single ch-galloping ghost.  then 2 ch. now into 2 meters electric gliders for thermaling. just rudder and elevator. no ailerons of flaps. now into telemetry (voice).
