More about me:

Power modelling since 1961 (control-line), RC since 1965, and helicopters since 1974. Designed and built my own RC systems, some of which were sold commercially by Mick Wilshere of World Engines. Now retired from my career as a broadcast TV engineer, where I specialised as a video editor.

Current interests: Vintage RC, including classic aerobatic models, helicopters, and single-channel. Reasonably accomplished ukulele player, and classic car enthusiast. I currently own a 1971 SAAB 96 V4, which I have slowly been restoring - a job you never finish - and on which carry out all my own maintenance work.

Spent most of my adult life working in and around London, but now retired back to my birthplace of Torbay in Devon.
