“oh dear what have I done :-(”
I am returning to modelling after an absence of 25 years, my word its changed! I built a Wot4 to obtain my A certificate. I then became very disillusioned with IC as was unable to keep them running reliably, with hine-sight proabably a bad batch of fuel. But anyway, I converted my Wotty to electric and haven't looked back since. Built a 72" YT Hurricane and a 66" Seagull Sea Fury both electric and have enjoyed some great flying at a few select events around the country. Really enjoying the "dark side" and have even given a talk on my preferred source of power the A123 M1 Nano Phosphate cells to a local club. I passed my B test flying my original Wot4 but now electric in the summer. I have just completed an 85" electric conversion of the Black Horse Chipmunk, I am still shaking the wrinkles out but it looks like a good model to practice scale competition flying. I have also got back into more serious scale and am just completing a BT Hurricane and a BT Mustang hopefully for next year. Both are electric and fitted with Benedini sound modules. Tally Ho!
