I am retired, live in Tasmania, have been flying for 40 years. My main interest is Scale although I have dabbled with pattern. Since retiring I have taken up slope soaring and enjoy it enormously. Wife Kathy and I have travelled overseas five times and are hoping to go again. We have been to Duxford for Flying Legends a couple of times and in 2016 went to the large model gathering at Cosford. All terrific fun.
I have mainly been flying ARF's the last ten years or so due to time factor. They fly well but there is much more satisfaction to be had building your own. So I have been building a Focke Wulf on and off for the last couple of years. I have a plan for an Avro Avian monoplane which I am hoping to get to next year, 2020. Too many other things seem to need my attention. But we just keep battling along and doing what i can.
