More about me:
I start slope soaring early Feb 2011. My first model was a WW Orion, what a great 2ch RE glider, given the right conditions it is truly superb. I guess that could be said for most models but deep down it doesn't. I have a Rookie 84 and Svenson Sunny and neither are in the same league as the Orion. I also have a WT 60" no need to say anything about that pedigree machine, a P15 (JP Pretty 1500 without motor) which is a smooth operator but a bit fragile with built up wings and egg shell GRP fuse. Then a couple of Homebrews, the Rehab and OCD both are being constantly refined but have heaps of potential. On the bench I have a 126" Topaz II and P6 sport.
My ambition is to constantly improve my flying and design & build skills whilst endeavoring to keep within a £100 air frame budget .
I'm also "totally" obsessed with designing, building and racing International One Metre radio contolled yachts from balsa and GRP
