The new Futaba 2.4GHz module and a receiver are now in the UK and should be with retailers by the time you read this.

The new TM-7 module has been ‘optimised for quick and easy installation, free from clumsy wires or cables’ It fits the 7U, 8U, 9C and 9Z systems as well as the FC18 and FC28 sets. The retail price is £99.99.

The new R607FS receiver is a 7-channel unit weighing just 7g and measuring just 40x27x9mm. It can fly all model sizes and is a full range unit, it is priced at £69.99.

All this is good news for Futaba users who can now upgrade their existing 35MHz modular transmitters to the new frequency.
