Well, GWS40 stricly speaking as once again GWS use a number to denote a kit rather than the aircraft or manufacturers name; We all know this is a Curtis P-40 of course. This model has been advertised worldwide and distributed to the U.S. but has only recently been available in the U.K. via distributor J.Perkins.

The model is larger than what I tend to term as first generation GWS warbirds and is available in painted, unpainted and unpainted EPO (Elapor) versions. Neither version has a powerset included but there are plenty of cheap brushless motor solutions available.

The quality of the moulded parts is impressive and thoughtfully two spinners are included albeit foam ones for two and three-blade props. Also included are plenty of the standard GWS fittings, a pre-painted canopy, plastic cowl, lots of decals, a y-lead for ailerons and wheels too.

It's without doubt a very attractive kit - look out for the review in RCM&E in due course.
