Nuremburg 2011

Welcome to this little photo round-up from the Nuremburg 2011 trade expo. You'll find our main report in the April 2011 issue of RCM&E (on sale 11th March) and here we sign off with some more items that we didn't quite have room for in the magazine. Nuremburg is where the world model industry meets to showcase the new products that should appear over the course of the next 12 months. It's very very big and it's very busy but, we've done the footwork for you so just sit back then and enjoy the goodies…..

This is Hangar 9's new Corsair 50 albeit in prototype form. The 57" span model will be for .46 – .60 two-strokes, .72 – .82 four-strokes or a Power 46 outrunner.

Hangar 9 again and this time their beautiful new 3.1m SU-26 – you'll need a 150-170cc petrol engine.

Understated yet very pretty, E-flite's new Aeronca Champ has just gone on sale in the UK.

This is Seagull's new 67" span Zero for .75 -.91 two-strokes or .91 – 1.25 four-strokes – nice exhaust stack detail but perhaps not the spinner!

Nuremburg is all about selling, making deals and seeing what your competitors are getting up to.

Horizon's David Kibbe shows off the new Parkzone Mosquito – due in the UK within the next few weeks.

The new EDF Habu 32 hasn't arrived yet but already a turbine conversion kit is available from Al's Hobbies.

This new chopper from Silverlit fires little foam projectiles – we like the sound of that.

Graupner's new Taxi Sport is the low wing version of the Taxi Cup.

The WOT4 range just seems to keep on growing!

Graupner have high hopes for their new HOTT 2.4GHz radio system.

  The attractive 64" span Black Horse Edge 540 V-3. You'll need a .91 four-stroke.

Black Horse again and their recently released 61" span PC-9. Again, a .91 four-stroke is required.

This pretty little Spitfire is a new addition to Kyosho's Minium range as is….

……this DHC-2 Beaver.

In red or blue, this pretty Piper PA-34 joins Kyosho's Airium series.

Keen to show that standard Oratex is used to cover full size aircraft, the good people from Oracover brought in…….a full size aircraft.

A nice EPO foam, 65" span Diamond DA-42 twin on the Fly Fly stand – let's hope the UK distributor Ripmax will be bringing these into the UK.

With a fibreglass fuselage and balsa wings, this 1.45m span Nemesis NXT is the first model from Fly Fly we've seen that's not foam – very pretty.

The big Pitts S-12 from Great Planes is a simply beautiful (and very big) chunk of bipe.

That's it but don't forget to catch the full report in the new April 2011 issue of RCM&E.
