Strengths:
Excellent flight characteristics across the whole speed range, including controllability when flying very slowly. . . .
Weaknesses:
The UK agent for Multiplex appears only to be interested in sticking a few kits in the shops, then clearing off without offering any back-up. I have found it impossible to get any response to requests for reccomended parts supplied by Multiplex, they ought to get someone else to represent them in the UK who is prepared to put in a bit of effort and they might sell a whole lot more. The models are good but so far I wouldn't buy anything else from them based on this experience. .

Superb flier at high or low speed. Mine goes vertical on only 160W. Very fast assembly. EPP foam is rugged.
Weaknesses:

As with most Multiplex models, a great flier that's easy to assemble. The price is right too and performance is good even on a modest power train. . .

Strengths:
Excellent build quality as usual from Multiplex. Goes together very quickly. Very axial rolls. Glides in very smoothly and nice and slow for landings.
Weaknesses:
Had to extend battery wire from ESC due to rear mounting of motor. Large canopy type area over rear fuselage makes swapping motor difficult, but you dont need to do this often :) Quite difficult to see in overcast conditions!. . .
Overall:
Superb, customisable model, looks great with a custom paint job! Stick a superbright green LED in the nose to help with visibility!. . . .

Gareth Jones  |  Oct 22, 2007

Strengths:
Seems to fly really 'smoothly and solidly'. . . .
Weaknesses:
Tends to roll when initially launched. 'Tip tanks' a bit fragile and APC thin electric prop tends to break fairly frequently on landing. . .
Overall:
I fitted mine with the '200 watt' deal of brushless motor and speed controller from BRC hobbies, together with a 2100 ma LIPO. It goes really well, almost unlimited vertical performance and very big loops. . .
