Strengths:
easy to build easy to fly. . . .
Weaknesses:
Hatch retaining method does not work very well. The screw at the front works loose from the foam after a couple of flights, use strips of velcro. Not robust enough for a first time trainer. .
Overall:
A great plane if you have flown before. It goes together easily but be carefull when fitting the fin section. If you dont get it into place pretty smartish the cyno could grip and basically ruin the model so test fit it several time before going for the glue. The Terry s flys in a very safe and predictable manner and is a great plane as a second model on the stock 400 set up.

Strengths:
Cheap to buy and simple to build. Good beginners plane but also fun for more experienced pilots. . .
Weaknesses:
Wing mounting is not the best design so I hot-glued mine on once everthing was dialled in. . . .
Overall:
I run mine with a Mega 16/15/4 on 3 cell with a Graupner 6x3 folder and it's reasonably quick with very good vertical. I also fitted ailerons to mine for better control and it's great fun to fly. Battery compartment is a little small but you can't have everything!. .

Strengths:
Simple design, well made, easy to build, flies very very well, small and portable. . . .
Weaknesses:
None. . . .
Overall:
Superb, an underated classic, the perfect pop in the car hack that's at home in any conditions or location This is a model that'll happily potter around on a stock brushed 400 motor and a 2S battery yet upgrade it to a brushless inrunner and 3S and you've got a smooth stable mini hotliner that's simply one of the best aeroplanes you'll own. . . .

Strengths:
Goes together as nicely as I would expect of a Graupner product. Very pleasant handling for an R. E. T.
Weaknesses:
Those long metal push rods, keep the aerial away from them (as usual - don't ask!) Speed 400 on 2S is just a bit underpowered, needs a pretty steep dive for a loop - you have to fly it like a powered sloper. . . .
Overall:
I like it. Eventually I'll put 1500-2200Kv inrunner on 3S in the front, just like the esteemed Captain. Until then, as long as it's not too windy the Terry goes into the car with the usual mix of models every time. .

Strengths:
Graupner thoroughness in materials and quality of kitting. Clear instructions with good photo illustrations. Quick building/assembly. Graupner have now discovered the 'strength(s)' of 'Solidpor' (their version of 'Elapor' as used so successfully by MPX in their foamies - cyano can be used to assemble).
Weaknesses:
The usual mould release 'dimples' and 'circles' found on foamies. These can be sanded off and the indents filled with 'Polyfilla Fine Surface' / (Spackle for our US readers). The wing tip traing edges can be deformed easily which could affect trim at high(er) speeds. On standard SPEED 400 direct drive motor, flight performance mediocre.
Overall:
Excellent quick build, fun flight performance (even on rudder & elavator). I'll be fitting ailerons shortly but these are not essential. My Spec: 2837 2200Kv Brushless Direct Drive Motor,33Amp ESC, 6x3 Graupner folder CAM prop, 3 cell 1345mAh Li-Po, Schulze Rx, 2x HiTec HS45 Servos - AUW 526gms. .
