Strengths:
The Pawnee can easily take a variety of electric motors and batteries and disassembles to fit easily in small cars. Also, if required, the flaps can be cut free to add another dimension to the flight envelope. . .
Weaknesses:
E-Flite seemed to have used very brittle wood in the airframe, and what were they thinking of with the none scale U/C and wing tip profile, they just looks absolutely dreadful. Also the supplied elevator pushrods bind and need replacing, and the biggest sin of all is that there's no pilot included in the kit!. . .
Overall:
The Pawnee is a good introduction into using flaps and has many possibilites to be refined into a more scale like plane, if required. It flies very nicely with the lower power recommendation and can handle a bit more wind than an equivalent Piper Cub due to the higher wing loading. . .
