Strengths:
Superb way to start the hobby. This is what started me off. Very quick to put together, everything needed in the box and pretty easy to fly. Would rate it as an excellent buy for anyone wanting to charge and fly without the usual months/weeks of building (Although for many modellers, that it the best part).
Weaknesses:
Not sure it has any weeknesses considering the money, all parts are replaceable and easy to repair/change. . . .
Overall:
I have built many models since getting into the hobby, but still enjoy flying the Spit. Excellent value and quality for the money. . .

Strengths:
a good solid flyer at low cost and looks good in the air, very responsive plane and fair battery running life. quick charge time. . .
Weaknesses:
would have suited rudder control aswell, twitchy in higher winds. the tail plane could have been better thought out as far as fixing goes instead of just cellotape. could have had a three point transformer charger as well as the car charger. .
Overall:
a great model for the stepup from just elevator and rudder planes. great for those on a low budget but want a quality looking model. . .

Strengths:
Assembles easily and all necessary equipment supplied in box. Supplied 3ch radio has plenty of range, dual rates and low battery warning. 15 min flight times and classic looks in the air. inverted is no problem, barrel rolls and loops as tight or large as required.
Weaknesses:
lack of rudder prevents some manoeuvres but could be retro fitted if desired - not really a problem. 3ch radio has slider switch for throttle but easily used. wing edges have flash seams but its not noticable from a few feet away and who cares as its not a scale model. .
Overall:
not a beginners model but great fun for a quick quiet flight fix at your local park or patch. Lipo upgrade available but nimh is more than adequate. Best thing is backup from distributor - Horizon hobby - excellent help and advice with any problem/issue. .
