Reno Racer  |  Sep 08, 2011

Strengths:
Flys superbly and is a top notch ARF. Does all the aerobatics you can want and lands and tracks very nicely. This model will take you from A cert onwards, its only limiting factor is pilot ability. Undercarriagre mounts, spats,.
Weaknesses:
In 4 years, all I've done is replace the tailwheel to a sullivan type. . . .
Overall:
A good fun honest model that can do all the tricks, equally good as a B and C cert model as it is a first low winger. . . .

Strengths:
Well made, stable flyer, great as a first low wing, good covering, looks smart. . . .
Weaknesses:
Undercarriage held in by metal bolts, which on heavy landings may result in ripping bottom out. Replacing with slightly thicker nylon bolts better option. Spats can be a problem on uneven ground; also they can damage wings if undercarriage comes off on landing, but they do look great. .
Overall:
A great all round model for both general flying and acrobatics, highly recommended. . . .

Strengths:
Easy to assemble Clear instructions Stable yet responsive in flight Slow speed handling make landings a doddle Very attractive colour scheme. . . .
Weaknesses:
Wheels spats smash easily on grass - be tempted to leave them off. They do look good though. . .
Overall:
Lovely model to fly Absolutely ideal 1st low winger but with enough capability for all kinds of manoeuvres. Great and attractive club model. Popular with members who've seen and tried them. The 40 went out of stock in the UK Summer 08 not sure on current availability.
