Strengths:

Cheap,generally flew quite well. . . .

Weaknesses:

brittle type of wood used in construction - forget about crash repairs? Heavy and prone to a nasty tip-stall at low speed. . . .

Overall:

Ok if you knew the models weaknesses and didn't slow her down too much. ARTF's have moved on (including VMAR) but remembered with a certain fondness. . .
