Strengths:
Ready to fly package. . . .
Weaknesses:
As3x receiver Motor has issues. . . .
Overall:
This is my 3rd aircraft with the as3x receiver I am not a fan I have replaced them with standard receivers. After only a few flights I have noticed pulsing on the motor under climb another motor issue I have had the same with my Splendor awaiting new motor. I know Horizon have great customer service but they seem to have lots of issues on quality products and you pay for return postage each time. I find the wing re tension system could be made simpler.

Strengths:
A powerful performer, 800watts plus at 56 amps! Like a Clydsdale pulling a six pack. . . .
Weaknesses:
Tricky to align the Horizontal stabilizer securing bolt on one side with minor surgery required. . . .
Overall:
The cg quoted in the manual has been revised in an E Flite "bulletin"to 102 mm from 120 mm. The expo relationship to control surface throw values chart in the manual is reversed. Throws quoted are unachievable and excessive. I have dispensed with the AS3X in favour of a 6 chanel rcx.

Strengths:
Full 3D capability. Probably the best sounding electric model to date!. . .
Weaknesses:
Dire quality of the overall construction, assembly and painting. Huge amounts of overspray and split joints on my example and the aileron pushrods were incorrectly assembled. Also, one elevator was warped and this needed to be addressed before flight. E-Flite seriously need to look at Multiplex for how to make a quality Foamie.
Overall:
Very pleasing to fly and will do virtually any manoeuvre you can imagine. Looks very attractive in the red/white/blue scheme. . .

Strengths:
BNF version flight ready in 70 mins for me. excellent finish, very tough, absolutly loads of power, comes apart in mins-if you need to. all in all this plane is truly wonderful--just read and look on the net about it!!!. .
Weaknesses:
nothing. . . .
Overall:
so much fun to fly gets lots of attention at the club. don't be put off by the price many airframes only are £150 then add up the bits and you will be at the same price-all the supplied gear is good quality. . .
