GOOD FUN FOR INDOORS ON RAINY DAYS
Strengths: a good to learn helicopter, so easy to fly it almost flys itself.
Weaknesses: the blades are a bit weak and tent to break on hard landings. the overall build is a bit to easy to break too so watch the landings.
Overall: a great training helicopter at a cheap price

EXCELENT TRAINER
Strengths: Great for beginners.Very easy to fly.Looks great in the air and has a scale appearence and is easy to hover. It is very duable and resists most crashes.
Weaknesses: Takes a long time to charge the battery and the flight time is only 8-10 minutes.
Overall: It is really fun, good for the beginner and can be flown indoors and in mild wind outside.

BEST FUN I'VE HAD IN AGES!
Strengths: The Medevac looks great on the ground and in the air. To anyone who has see MASH it is instantly recognisable. My boys 15 & 10 both learned to fly it, although it required enough skill to make it an enjoyable challenge for all of us. This was one flying model which had their full attention and they were both clamouring to fly it at every opportunity, despite not sharing their father's obsession with model aircraft! The Medevac can be flown in doors in a small lounge with the furniture pushed against the wall, or outside in flat calm conditions. Easy to hover. Flybar pops off in the event of a roll over, thus saving it and the blades. Good range. Neat little low battery warning LED on tail boom. Good duration. Ideal for chasing and terrorising the cat or dog! Withstands power off drops by beginners remarkably well.
Weaknesses: Mine self-destructed in the air, when the flybar went into the rotors. When I told the shop I bought it from, they said 'Oh, they do that; you have to put a screw through the transverse hole in the mast above the flybar once you can fly past the hover.' No mention of this is in the instructions, and it cost me a set of rotors, tailboom, and canopy. Grrrr!. Fitting the battery is a bit fiddly. The recovery after throttling back takes a while. Any wind at all will have it disappearing downwind. Runs out of 'rudder' trim
Overall: The Medevac is an ideal first R/C helicopter. It looks good, flies great, gets the children's interest and is sufficiently challenging to keep you wanting to fly it. Spares are readily available from good model shops and eBay. Buy a couple of spare batteries and a few sets of spare blades, put a screw through the mast once you can reliably hover it, and you will have a ball!

GREAT PLACE TO START
Strengths: It really is a good trainer. It is responsive enough to learn on without being twitchy, and if (when) you crash, parts are cheap and easy to replace.
Weaknesses: Don't believe what it says on the box - 'hands off hovering' isn't going to happen with this machine. And when you gain confidence and start forward flight and tight turns, blade strikes are very common - and messy.
Overall: It is a fully functional heli, easy to fly and probably the best place to start learning.
