GOOD KIT THAT LOOKS RIGHT IN THE AIR
Strengths: Goes together well, lots of room for radio inside.Goes well on OS91 fs.
Weaknesses: Shiney covering.
Overall: A couple of coats of matt fuel proofer to take away the shine and you are left with a great warbird .

OK,
Strengths: good build quality, looks the right shape, with 1.20 fs flies right.
Weaknesses: to shiny, expensive
Overall: one of the better spitfires available for looks and flying quality, you can not go wrong with hangar 9.have 3 batteries in mine, retract, glow and radio, and the extra weight makes no difference to the flying qualities.

FLYS AS WELL AS IT LOOKS
Strengths: good value for money
Weaknesses: none to speak off
Overall: After reading these reviews i covered inside of fuse with fibre resin heated it up and swilled around to strengthen inside of fuse, made sure it got into all joints and it is now very tough and fuel proof.I used thunder tiger 90 fs and found this is more than adequate for the performance i require. It flew straight and level after two clicks down on elevator, the stall was really non existant. Very happy with an good all round scale looking plane.

GOOD KIT
Strengths: good instructions all the parts fit, well laid out and the every thing included in the box. Can be assembled in under a day. Looks great and performs well.
Weaknesses: Retract servo a fiddly job to get set up correctly a lot of adjustment. Has a tendency to tip stall on landing and needs a good take off speed as tip stalls again. Spares are expensive compared to the kit price the Fuse & Wing as spares cost more than the kit.
Overall: Great model sound better on a 4 stoke has great "GRIN" factor

GREAT AIRCRAFT
Strengths: The build went together easily. The instructions and fittings are good quality. For its size its light but feels incredibly strong. The recommended Saito 100 fits nicely within the cowl.
Weaknesses: The firewall area lets this aircraft down. Mine came loose after only a couple of runs and needed seriously beefing up. The hex head bolts are unusual AF sizes which dont come in most small sets. Metric replacements would be nice.
Overall: Apart from the minor points listed as weaknesses, this is a fantastic Spit. It has the right presence in the air and "looks right". The build quality and covering is great. The finish is fairly glossy which may put some off. In my opinion it makes it look great in the air and is very easily to clean down after flying.

A GREAT WARBIRD THAT WORKS!
Strengths: Well engineered, flies well, strong. Looks great in the air. Easy to fly.
Weaknesses: Shiny film covering, flaps could come down a bit more.
Overall: A warbird that works, no real weak spots and a model that'll have you smiling every flight.

REALY GOOD
Strengths: under carriage realy strong as i had a couple of hard landings. flaps realy work well
Weaknesses: i had to reinfrce the engine bulkhead to take my OS geared engine, and the 16 x8 three bladed prop,it sounds incredible also the decals need sticking down before using or thet fly off
Overall: very good and can almost be used as an every day model

BEAUTIFULL KIT
Strengths: Realism as its not true scale.Plenty of power from the recommended saito.Nice big cowling to house the engine neatly in.Well covered.
Weaknesses: Poor firewall and engine bay.I have had to strenghthen this considerably as a saito 1.00 just pulled it apart after 3 runs. This is so dangerous and may not be obvious to the new ARTF modeller. If this happens in flight then disaster is imminent. It appears to be just tacked with glue in places and needs to be reinforced considerably.Fuel tank didnt fit and had to make adjustments
Overall: A great looking kit that flys well and looks the part on the field. To those like myself who are new to ARTF check over the engine bay and other structure stress points before heading off to the flying field.
