LOOKS GREAT IN THE AIR
Strengths: Value for money
Weaknesses: Undercarridge weak. I have replaced mine with E Flight electrics. Noses over easily on landing on grass
Overall: Shame about colour scheme. Flys well on SC120 but I needed to shorten the mounting box with 120 up front. Flaps not really needed and best not used on landing. Keep speed up on landing otherwise you run out of elevator aurthority

A LOT OF MODEL FOR NOT A LOT OF MONEY
Strengths: This model fits together really well, no allignment issues and can honestly say it was a perfect electric conversion. Simply by giving the model a quick makeover with some WBC paint it is transformed, add a few details and you would never know its origin. Great value for money in my book. I know of 6 at our club alone!
Weaknesses: The film covering used will wrinkle in the sunshine, easily reshrunk but a pain none the less. The retracts included are a little spindly so if you get the weight into the double figures (lbs) be careful. Though saying that mine has now done 23 flights without a problem at all.
Overall: The model is unmistably a Sea Fury in the air, and flies superbly.

GOOD REPRESENTATION OF THE AIRCRAFT FOR AN ARTF KIT
Strengths: During my build, I opened up some small section of the airframe. I converted it to electric power plus some other scale details. The build quality is very good and the wood selection is more than adequate. There is extensive use of laser cut ply that you just can re-produce by hand keeping the AUW to a minimum, and its such an adaptable machine. Just check out the RC forums here and on the web
Weaknesses: Very few, yes it not a true scale plane with all the bumps and lumps but these can be added. Theres plenty of room in the tail for an after market retractable tail wheel and if you must you could cut the sides of the fuselage to give the additional vents for the engine as per the full size. The pilot supplied is not nice, just too comical and the spinner is tinny, did they not look at the full size when choosing this. Again lots to choose from via the net check out Petes Pilots for a proper scale man. On the budget the mechanical retracts are ok and again easily upgradeable.
Overall: Over all this if very good value for your money, and shop around for an old kit that may still be at the old price before the Euro went skywards.

REALLY LOOKS THE PART
Strengths: Good rugged construction
Weaknesses: Weak U/c, flimsy LE radiators spoil overall effect
Overall: Without the radiators and with the CG mooved back 3/4" to where it should be - flies a treat.

GREAT 1ST WARBIRD
Strengths: Easy to build, very stable to fly for mid level pilot
Weaknesses: Main Wheel legs a bit thin, plastic dummy oil cooler intakes on wing wrong colour and a bit toyish. Supplied wheels and spinner very poor quality compared to rest of assesories supplied.
Overall: Very nice model and with a little time and attention you could endup with a beautiful stand-off scale model. Flying is very smooth and stable for a war-bird. Big wing makes the approach and landing very comfortable for mid level pilot.

A GREAT KIT - INCREDIBLE QUALITY AND VFM
Strengths: Build quality and completeness. With the retracts supplied and all the other bits and pieces, this is a high quality product at a great price. Looks fab in the air too
Weaknesses: Pilot figure is pump. Easily replaced with a scale pilot though. Colour scheme is horrible (why a Reno scheme not a FAA?) and the cowl is too long.
Overall: Despite the colours scheme etc, this kit is easy to build and great to fly. It screams for a bit of experimentation and a good semi-scale finish is easily achievable. Given the other options on the market, this is probably the best kit for the price and a great way to start warbird modelling.
