A GREAT PLANE AND FLYS AS GOOD
Strengths: a good semi scale plane, really looks the part
Weaknesses: had to modify the tail on mine, not quite sqare to the main wing, minor inconvenience.
Overall: flew mine with a dle 30,still over powered, maybe a 26 or a 20 for true scale flying, also flew it as electric on 10s,found it to be very floaty

JUST LIKE THE FULL SIZE
Strengths: Excellent good quality kit. At 12lbs mine flies very well on a 33cc Mintor petrol engine
Weaknesses: U/C fairings should not be glued to wing - leave them 1/8" clear
Overall: Very pleased with this model/engine combination best of all less than 82db!

THIS IS A LARGE MODEL AND VERY WELL MADE, BECAUSE IT IS LIGHT, IT IS FRAGILE. THE MODEL LOOKS RIGHT AND FLIES VERY WELL. IT CONVERTS TO ELECTRIC REALLY EASILY.
Strengths: Very well made, looks right, fairly accurate, and flies very well. Covering is superb. Fit of parts is also excellent.
Weaknesses: This is quoted as needing a 45cc petrol, IMO total overkill, a 120 FS would be fine. However with lightness has come fragiltity. I have heard the wing skins crack just by general handling. The front bulkhead needed re-inforcing. The plastic oleo U/C shrouds are knocked off no matter how careful you are. And the method of linking the tailwheel to the rudder is a nightmare. The two pilots provided weighed half a pound, to change them meant cutting open the cockpit floors.
Overall: I am very pleased with mine. A little effort has it looking more scale. You could really go to town and make it very convincing indeed. Mine weighs just 11lbs with 10,000mAh capacity giving 20 - 30 minute flight times. A very nice model that can be flown all year round. Update.......... Well after more than six years of flying my Chippy is still going strong. The underlying wood is showing signs of warping here and there nothing to alter the handling but just makes the model look tired. Nothing has failed or fallen off. I replaced the standard oleos with Unitract units of the same size but softer sprung. The original units were wearing and allowing the wheel/axle to twist which was not good. Still thrilled with mine, even after six years :)
