A LOT OF AEROPLANE FOR YOUR MONEY
Strengths: Great flyer. The plane went together fairly easily, good parts fit, usual for seagull. CG, throws etc spot on as per instructions, which were satisfactory. Good hardware. Good finish overall.
Weaknesses: Fitting the canopy is a pain, its really flexible so hard to handle. The nose wheel only just fits in the yoke and spat, very little clearance. However the worst part is the firewall - its just not strong enough for grass runways. Mine broke at the nose leg mount on the first (good) landing, then having beefed up that area, the second landing ripped the firewall clean off. Theres very little glue, so its a simple rebuild but I was disappointed with that.
Overall: Its a lovely looking aircraft, it flies beautifully, rock solid in the air and quite aerobatic, and with flaps down it was flying very slowly, so easy to handle. I will repair mine (again) but thought I'd warn anyone thinking of getting one, of its potential flaws.
