BEAUTIFUL MODEL
Strengths: This plane looks absolutely fantastic and can be slowed down in flight to a very slow speed due to it being so light. I also have the Fokker DVII and the Spad XIII from Ares, and even though they all fly really nicely, the Sopwith Pup is the best flyer of the three. The finish and overall look is great and there is no way I could build a model like this and this light. Several flyers at our indoor sessions have been amazed by these little Ares models and have immediately been on their smartphones trying to find them to buy. The models sometimes come with their own transmitter or will bind with any HiTec Red transmitter. I use a HiTec Flash 7 transmitter so I cant comment on the supplied ones as they are all mode 2 and I fly mode 1.
Weaknesses: None really, just handle them carefully and try not to fly them into walls!
Overall: Well worth picking one up if you see it. Obviously designed for indoors but I suppose an absolutely flat calm evening would be ok for a flight outside.
