There’s lots to look forward to in the April issue of RCM&E.
John Laker starts things off with his description of a long-standing scale model project for a Dart Kitten. Next, join us at our local indoor venue as we put E-Flite’s UMX Eratix flat foamy through its paces before Danny Fenton (Make It Scale) looks forward to a busy year on the scale modelling scene including the Scale Indoor Nationals in April and the Scale World Champs at BMFA Buckminster in July. Then it’s over to Chris Williams (Scale Gliding) who has made good use of recent rainy weather to finish off a trio of scale gliders. Harry Curzon tells us about his latest EDF jet purchase, a fabulous looking EE Lightning from Freewing before handing over to Lindsay Todd who makes a welcome return with yet another unorthodox R/C design, this time the sci-fi inspired Skybug One.

The second half begins with another RCM&E staff flight test, this time for Volantex’s diminutive Supermarine Spitfire before Thorsten Häs reports from JetPower, Europe’s big international air show and trade fair for jet and turbine model building. Among the many varied topics in his One Man & His Shed column, Dave Goodenough tries a new method of textile covering, with mixed results. And, finally, the editor wraps things up with a flight report of XFly-Models fabulous 4S Hawker Hurricane fighter.
