I popped along to Area 51 at the weekend. They're the UK distributors for a number of popular brands including SebArt, Hacker, FunTech and Xoar among many others. The business is owned and run by Colin and Mike who showed me around the Kent based facility. The SebArt range of models should need little introduction of course yet they stock a number of other interesting items deserving of wider attention. Their website has more info.

Colin and Mike with some of the Xoar range of wooden props. Beautifully made, they're available in countless shapes and sizes for electric and glow/petrol powered models.

The range includes these tipped and curved WW1 scale props along with scale props for WW2 warbirds too – something worth knowing.

Area 51 sell the Hacker range of Li-Po batteries which now includes LiFe packs in all the popular sizes.

Plenty of SebArt spare parts are held in stock – good to know.
