The Graupner Elektro Junior S

Sometimes Graupner don’t shout loudly enough about models that perhaps deserve shouting about and this Elektro Junior S electric glider, launched with little fanfare last year, is possibly a case in point. The Elapor foam model didn’t seem to be very widely available until earlier this year and so in the process may have passed you by.

Those who have built and flown the model have nothing but praise for the 1900mm (74″) span machine which is clearly competing with the Multiplex Easy Glider. When the fact that a brushless motor, spinner and folding prop are included in the £69.99 (at Motors and Rotors) asking price, the value can be seen to be attractive.

Graupner recommend the use of a 2S Li-Po battery and a 30-amp ESC while four micro servos will push the rudder, ailerons and elevator.

We’ll have a full review in RCM&E soon.
