Visual similarities with the DX6i are there although ergonomically the DX8T is much improved. Quality of the materials seemed very good.
Just unveiled at the Nuremburg 2010 trade expo, Horizon Hobby had the long awaited higher end Spektrum radios in the forum of this, the new DX8T and the new DX10T. At the moment they’re scheduled to arrive in the summer. The DX8T features 30 model memories and an SD memory card capability. The specification released so far includes the following features –
- Real-time telemetry providing on-board receiver battery voltage
- Back-lit screen
- SD card facility for almost unlimited model memories, data transfer and software upgrades
- 30-model memory
- Throttle activated timer setting
- Mode 1-4 selectable
- Flap delay
- Assignable switches
- Selectable telemetry vibration or warning sounds
- Failsafes
The DX10’s styling should appeal to the continental market.
The DX10T (above) builds on the capabilities of the DX8 and some details have just been released on the Horizon Hobby UK website, click here to go there.
