New releases from Seagull

by

The first of Seagull's larger models for 2012 have just arrived in the UK in the form of the Grob Tutor (opposite), Shoestring racer, Sport Cruiser and Piper Comanche.

They're attractive, semi-scale, club-size sport models designed for either electric or i.c. power and made using laser-cut balsa/ply and covered in Oracover. Continuing Seagull's trend to ensure new models can easily use either power source; all include EP conversion kits and a removable top hatch to facilitate battery changing. The ARTFs are complete with a full hardware set along with pilot figures too.

The 72" span Comanche is the largest of the bunch and suits engines up to 1.20 four-stroke while the 63" span Shoestring is for a .91-1.20 four-strokes, the 67" span Grob suits an .80 four-stroke and the 70" span Sport Cruiser 1.20 four-stroke engines. Two-stroke and electric outrunner equivalents aplly of course.
