FANTASTIC INTRO MODEL
Strengths: These models have helped teach many thousands of flyers. A good combination of strength to weight this airframe offers very stable flight characteristics and coupled with a nice .46 size 2 stroke provides a great learning platform. It will handle a fair bit of wind and is fairly robust.
Weaknesses: The nose wheel wire is a bit soft but is usable to start off. A replacement is easily obtainable. The linkage rod between the nose wheel & the rudder servo needs to be secured or steering on the ground is poor, I simply ran the wire & tube through a hard foam block glued to the inner side of the fuselage. The supplied engine mount is to narrow for a 40 size engine.
Overall: Stable , well built this plane is a very common sight at many clubs and rightly so as its the perfect trainer.

STABLE AND STRONG BUT HEAVY.
Strengths: Cheap but well made with a very good assembly booklet written by a flier. Stable and forgiving in the air. Tough landing gear. Colour scheme highly visible. Handles the wind well. Easy access to fuel tank. Can fly slowly with confidence.
Weaknesses: Heavy. A good cheap .40 like an SC, ASP etc will power it but will be at least half throttle a lot of the time. The fuel tank bay is not fuel proofed.
Overall: Very good design for learners and anyone who wants a 'Fly any time' hack for all weathers. It is heavy, 3 Kg plus with most .40s but surprisingly needs savage provocation to get it to stall. Goes exactly where you put it and stays there. Deep semi symmetrical wing section good for (slow) aeros practice when c of g moved back and a .46 fitted. Almost axial rolls, better than most high wingers but needs a lot of aileron differential or proper use of the rudder.
