THE BEST
Strengths: Version 5 has the best quadcopters of any sim. The model selection screen is organised very well.
Weaknesses: The instructors's voice isn't clear on the training videos.
Overall: As a novice flyer I have learnt more from this sim than any other.

THE BEST SIM ON THE MARKET
Strengths: -Graphics -Selection of flyable models -Realistic fields -Online multiplayer -updates itself -easy setup -saves money in crashes -helps you improve your skills
Weaknesses: only one, the online multiplayer is sometimes temperamental and only works about 50% of the time. There's no cancel when loading either and if the load is sucessful, it tends to load quickly. It takes a minute or so just to tell you there's a problem with connecting.
Overall: The initial impression is good; for your 80 you get a disc and a lead all in a well presented box. Admitedly, this is a lot of money for software, but its in use that you realise that phoenix is actually well priced, especially compared to sims of similar quality. Its very easy to set up and use. Updates are downloaded automatically so you don't have to be a computer whizz to have the latest version, models or flying field. The collection of models is simply outstanding and each one is modelled beautifully. The flying fields look real and the effects when a model comes into contact with the backdrop are very realistic. The weather simulation is also great although i haven't used this function much as i prefer flying when its calm! The internet multiplayer function was correctly summed up in the mag as a trumpcard as its very good and adds an extra dimension to the package. Highly recommended.

GREAT SIM
Strengths: Very easy to install, and once you download the 1st major update it looks after updates itself. Use your own transmitter so you maintain continuity in the tools your use. Graphics are excellent, As are the physics.
Weaknesses: Connecting to other Phoenix simmers can be a little tricky to set up. You need to know how to forward ports, whilst not difficult you are at the mercy of your router manufactures instructions.
Overall: It's really great to be able to try things you just wouldn't do with your own aircraft, and also fly aircraft you only dream of owning.

FANTASTIC SIM AT A GREAT PRICE
Strengths: Very nice user interface, excellent graphics and sceneries, lots of features and generally very easy to use. Also free updates for life!!
Weaknesses: No option to change motor / prop combinations in the model editor feature.
Overall: I'm absolutely delighted with the Sim. It represents superb value for money and is streets ahead of other similarly priced programs that I've tried. I especially like the fact that all program updates, new models and sceneries are available for free download from the website, unlike other sims that charge for these. You can even request additional models that aren't featured, and Phoenix will produce them for download if enough requests are received!!! You really can't ask for more than that!!

Strengths: flies well don't need a special transmitter for it just the correct lead for you own. Smooth sim great for on line flying. Don't need to have the disk installed for updates and when flying.
Weaknesses: can't do the chase plane view as in great planes.

EASY TO LOAD AND GREAT TO USE
Strengths: Easy to load up, even on my 4-yr old PC. Free updates and runs very well, the on-line flying is a hoot. More options and models than you can shake a wing at.
Weaknesses: None really.
Overall: One of the best.
