This machine has been designed to take pilots up a level in 400-class expert 3D flying and so is clearly not for beginners. Intermediate and expert flyers wouldn’t want a bundled transmitter which is why the model is factory-built ready to fly apart from a transmitter and receiver. Included therefore are a brushless 440 motor, a 25 amp ESC, gold connectors and a 20C 1800mAh Li-Po battery. A three-cell balance charger, mains power adapter and blade caddy are also included. The RRP is £149.95.

Twister Pantera 50

This ARTF machine is the first i.c. Twister machine to appear – quite a departure from the norm! Described to be a pussycat to hover yet no stranger to 3D flight, the Pantera boasts a single axle rubber damped rotor head and a ballraced control system with ballraced servo output shaft stabilisers that prevent servo-rocking. A pinion belt-drive, header tank and motor muffler are amogst the other features. Main rotor diameter is 24.5cm and the machine just needs your R/C gear and i.c. motor to start flying. The RRP is £199.99.
